Basionym:— Pleurotus komarnitzkyi Vassilkov (1961: 31).

Type:— Turkmenistan, Kara-Kalinsky district, Kopetdag Mts., a valley of the Chandir, desert steppe, on the base of a stem of Eremostachys sp., 05 April 1959, S. A. Annaliev (holotype LE17692, isotype LE 5606).

Additional specimens examined:— LE 5608, LE 5609.

Distribution:—Known only from Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
