Description

By methods of differential-thermal, microstructural, X-ray phase analyzes and determination of microhardness, a diagram of the state of the section Pr2 Te3-Bi2Te3 was constructed. It is shown that the cut is quasi-binary; a ternary compound PrViTe3 is formed. It has been established that the PrВiTe3 compound has a tetradymite-type structural structure with the space group D3d3--R-3m, hexagonal cell parameters a=4.46, c=31.69Aº, c/a=7.09.
