Lamniceps gigliotosi Bolívar, 1903

Distribution: Brazil: Paraná, São Paulo; Paraguay.
New record for the Paraná State.
Comments: Just two females were collected, in understory bushes of the forest. While being reared, they only ate vegetables and fruits, rejecting leaves and fish food flakes.
Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
