Description

Coherent elastic neutrino-nucleon scattering (CEvNS) offers a valuable approach in searching for physics beyond the Standard Model. The Ricochet neutrino experiment aims to detect CEvNS at the Institut Laue–Langevin (ILL) nuclear reactor with cryogenic solid-state detectors. The design calls for a modular array of cryogenic phonon detectors with an energy threshold below 100 eV, with the flexibility of utilizing various target materials. In this poster, we show the test results of the latest modular detector with a 1-gram Si target and the progress in modeling the detector response.
