Description

This article studies the educational manifestations that would create the roots of our known precarious educational culture, therefore, it is not our intention to rewrite or even interpret the history of education in Brazil. The main point of interest in this essay is related to the problematic structural duality of education between us, a factor, in our view, inherent to Brazilian conservatism, which is a determining factor in the type of exclusive educational culture that we carry as a historical legacy and as a challenge to be overcome , and that, without a doubt, this precariousness was inscribed within a class character, in order to serve the project of the elites and the intermediate classes to the detriment of the subordinate and the popular. A mark of the past that the country is unable to leave, even in its present, behind.
