Performance analysis of JUNO 20-inch potted PMTs with 1F3 electronics prototype
Description
The Jiangmen underground neutrino observatory (JUNO) is a neutrino project with 20-kton liquid scintillator located at 700-m underground. As a key component of JUNO detector, the performance of 20-inch PMTs has a significant impact on the energy and timing measurement and the vertex reconstruction of physical analysis. With the container #D at JUNO Pan-Asia PMT testing and potting station, the features of parts of waterproof potted 20-inch PMTs were measured with JUNO 1F3 electronics prototype. In this poster, the system schema and testing process of the container #D will be introduced. The results will be shown and compared with that from commercial electronics used by the container #A and #B, which are valuable for better understanding on the performance of the JUNO waterproof potted PMTs and the future JUNO 1F3 electronics.
