Description
WiPerf is a Wi-Fi performance monitoring system that can measure quality-of-service (i.e., throughput) and collect channel state and GPS information from vehicles using Wi-Fi for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications.
The dataset contains data collected on June 14th, 2022, from a real-world vehicular setup. For the setup we mounted two TP-Link Talon AD7200 routers on top of two vehicles, i.e., a 2006 Renault Megane Break and a 2002 Honda Jazz. One of the cars remained static while the other was driven around the stationary node for 10 laps at Rua D. Frei Vicente da Soledade e Castro in Porto,
Portugal. We collected 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ad data simultaneously using the three radio interfaces of the Talon AD7200 routers.
The dataset also includes throughput and CPU load data collected using iperf3 and the sar application from the sysstat Linux utility package. These measurements were taken in a lab environment using the same Talon AD7200 routers.
