The article examines the essence and content of the processes of ensuring peace and tranquility of the population through the formation of an integral system of public safety, crime prevention and crime control, the organization of effective activities from the lowest level to the republican level and the introduction of modern methods of holistic management and continuous control based on the system "republic — region — district — mahalla", ensuring peace and stability in the country through effective coordination of activities to ensure public security of internal affairs bodies. In addition, the legal framework in this area was scientifically analyzed, and opinions and comments were expressed about its role in the life of society.
