Upgrades to MiniCHANDLER, a Mobile Surface-Level Reactor Antineutrino Detector
Description
CHANDLER is an antineutrino detection technology based on a 3D segmented lattice of plastic scintillating cubes to enable surface-level deployment.
Our prototype detector, MiniCHANDLER, observed an antineutrino signal via inverse beta decay at 5.5σ significance with no overburden and minimal shielding.In this poster, we will discuss upgrades to the MiniCHANDLER detector and look at how these upgrades affect the future full scale CHANDLER detector.
