NuSTAR Serendipitous Survey: the 80-month Catalogue
Description
We present an overview of the 80-month NuSTAR Serendipitous Survey. ~1300 hard X-ray sources are detected, making this a uniquely large survey for a focusing high-energy mission. The sources are mostly extragalactic accreting supermassive black holes (AGNs) at z<1, extending in a few cases out to high redshifts (z~3), but also include a population of Galactic systems. Our extensive multi-hemisphere program of ground-based followup is revealing the detailed physical nature of this hard X-ray emitting population.
