BIOGEOCHEMISTRY OF MICROELEMENTS OF MEDICINAL PLANTS
Authors/Creators
Description
The article examines the amount of biomicroelements in various organs of medicinal plants. Manganese (Mn) is found in the flowers of milk thistle (Silybum marianum L.), in the leaves and fruits of Noni (Morinda citrifolia L.), as well as in the leaves of Papaya (Carica papaya L.), compared with other organs, Zn accumulates in almost all organs investigated plants. It was proved that the concentration of Mn, Co is 2 times, Zn is 6-7 times lower and Mo is 5 times higher in Noni plants on the studied meadow soils in comparison with volcanic soils.
