Accelerating reuse by implementing FAIR workflows

  • 1. DataCite

Description

  1. Reuse requires deliberation, preparation, and facilitation

    1. Researchers need to be informed of and committed to reusing and producing reusable resources.

    2. It takes foresight, planning, and continuous upkeep to ensure the reusability of research components and outputs.

    3. Infrastructure and services that support not only the management of individual research outputs but also guide and facilitate significantly ease the process.

  2. The project

    1. General information

    2. Workflows

      1. Research workflow

        1. Research design with FAIRness in mind

        2. Keeping track of resources needed for implementing FAIR practices

      2. Metadata workflow

        1. Generating rich metadata through integrations

        2. Bridging the generic to the specific through templates

    3. Dashboard

      1. Demonstrate FAIRness

        1. Display availability and connectedness

        2. Track impact and credits

      2. Facilitate reproducibility, reuse, and evaluation
