Moluscos opistobranquios de Cabo Verde: Anaspidea (Aplysiomorpha)

The study of the material of Aplysiomorpha (Mollusca: Opisthobranchia) collected in Cape Verde lslands during several Spanish and Portuguese trips between 1980 and 1987, has shown the existence of 7 species in the archipelago: four from the family Aplysiidae Lamarck, 1809, Aplysia dactylomela, A. fasciata, A. winneba and A. depilans, one from the family Dolabriferidae Pilsbry, 1895, Dolabrifera dolabrifera and two from the family Notarchidae Eales & Engel, 1935, Stylocheilus longicauda and Bursatella leachi guineensis. A. dactylomela and D. dolabrifera were collected in all the sampled islands, although the former in great quantities, and only isolated speciments of the latter. The other species were found in punctual places and, sometimes, in great quantities: this is the case of the presence of hundred specimens of A. fasciata in Tarrafal, Santiago, in May 1986, and B. leachi guineensis in Sal-Rei, Boavista, in August 1985. A detailed anatomical study of all the species has been made.
