Description

The main purpose of this paper is an attempt to assess the performance of the Indian banking sector in the wake of the global crisis at the camel levels and to investigate the factors that affect the financial performance of selected Indian bank. My findings reveal how private banking sector in India perform better than public banking sector. I believe these findings may reshape the way we view the public sector banks and can help public sector bank to look bank on themselves and improve.
