Improving reusability through metadata – Development and implementation of a sufficient metadata infrastructure in a large research association

The Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) has taken on the task of utilizing the potential of research data for the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres by establishing a suitable metadata infrastructure that enables FAIR. Within our platform we work on developing tools, engaging with the community and establishing relevant processes. After two years in action, we present our first results.
