HYDRIDES OF NICKEL

Description

A method for preparing nickel hydride in fairly large quantities has been described. It has been found that between 0' and 150° only two hydrides of nickel, Nina and NiH2 exist. Decomposition pressures of NiH2 has been determined from room temperature to 150°. The beat of formation of as those of the alkali and alkaline earth metals.
