A number of N-substituted 4-methoxy-7-chloro-9-aminoacridines (wherein both OMe and CI have been Shifted. to 4 and 7 positions respectively) has been synthesised ; the 9-substituted groups being dialkylamino-alkylamine, aromatic and hetrocyclic amino groupings and some simple substituents like OH and COOH
