Stictane cambodensis Bae & Bayarsaikhan, 2015
(Figs 7, 16, 26)
Stictane cambodensis Bayarsaikhan & Bae, 2015, Zootaxa 3981 (2): 242, figs. 3a, 3b, 10, 15. TL: Cambodia (Cardamom).
Types series. HOLOTYPE (Bayarsaikhan & Bae 2015: fig 1): male, Cambodia, Cardamom (N11˚58′47″, E103˚22′22″), 29.VI.2011 (Bae, Ju, Bayarsaikhan and Lee), Slide No. INU˗1006. PARATYPES: 1 ♂, Cambodia, Cardamom (N11˚56′83″, E103˚23′38″), 28.VI.2011 (Bae, Le, Park, Kim and Kim), Slide No. INU˗1006A; 1 ♂, Cambodia, Seima (N12˚11′45″, E107˚00′16″), 2.VII.2011 (Bae, Chae, Ju and Lee), Slide No. INU˗1006D; 2 ♂, Cambodia, Koh Kong (N11˚41′44.9″, E103˚06′51.8″), 25.XII.2014 (Bae, Ju, Qi, Bayarsaikhan, Park, Na, Kim and Lee), Slide No. INU˗1006B, 1006C.
Materials examined. 1 ♂, 1 ♀, SW Thailand, Nakhon Si Tammarat, Khao Luang region, Nopphitam env., 70m (N8˚14′17.2″, E99˚48′19.25″), 12–13.IV.2013 (leg. K. Černý), Gen. Slide No. INU˗10358 (male), 10362 (female) Thailand (Coll. CKC).
Diagnosis of female. Compared to male (Bayarsaikhan & Bae 2015: fig 1; present paper: 7a), the female is slightly larger in size (length of forewing 5 mm in male (holotype), 6 mm in female, Fig 7b). The female genitalia of S. cambodensis (Fig 26) differ from other members of Stictane by the dilated appendix bursae membranous and irregularly rectangular corpus bursae with strongly sclerotized proximal angle and diverse sized spines located widely in cervix of bursae.
Description of female. Adult (Fig 7b). Length of forewing 6 mm. Head pale gray; frons and labial palpus dark brown. Thorax dark brown. Ground color of forewing pale gray; antemedian series of dark three spots distinct; straight medial dark band broad, rectangular at costal area; a distinct discoidal dot dark; postdiscal series of small dark spots curved outward. Upper apical patches fuscous. Hindwing dark gray. Female genitalia (Fig 26). Papillae anales weakly sclerotized, triangular. Apophyses posteriores two times longer than apophyses anteriores, both slender. Ostium rounded, membranous. Ductus bursae stout, tubular, sclerotized. Corpus bursae irregularly rectangular, weakly sclerotized, with strongly sclerotized proximal angle and diverse sized spines located widely in cervix of bursae. Appendix bursae membranous, dilated.
Distribution. Thailand, Cambodia (Bayarsaikhan & Bae 2015).
Remarks. S. cambodensis was described for males by Bayarsaikhan & Bae (2015). In this study, this species is newly recorded from Thailand (Nakhon Si Tammarat province), and its female is described for the first time.
