PHASE STUDY IN THE SYSTEM Pb(NO3)2-KNO2 —H2O

Description
During the phase study of the system Pb(NO2)2-KNO3-H2O different crops of crystals, separated at different stages of crystallisation, have been analysed . Amongst these are found crystals respectively of the compositions (i) 4KNO2 Pb(NO3)2, (ii) 2KNO2.Pb(NO3)2 and (iii) KNO2 Pb(NO3)2, in agreement with the inferences drawn in the previous communication (this journal, 1955, 32, 351).
