Transport Processes in Thermo-cells

Domain of validity of thermodynamics of irreversible processes has been examined experimentally in the ease of transport processes in thermo-cells. Earlier theory of thermo-cells has been revised to suit the experiments described. The data obtained have also been used to study the effect of concentration, tempera­ture, and the nature of other ion on the heat and entropy of transport.
