Chorotype. Endemic Ibero-Maghrebian.

Distribution in North Africa. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia (Jäch & Skale 2015).

Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Al Hoceima, Taounate and Sidi Kacem (Bennas et al. 2001). Oriental Plateau: Jerada (Mabrouki et al. 2018). Central Plateau: Casablanca (Jäch 1990b). Middle Atlas: Fès (Kocher 1958; Jäch 1990b) and Ifrane (Kocher 1958).
