High level vocabularies for categorizing physical samples. Specimen Type is about what kind of object, Material Type is about what the object is composed of, Sampled Feature is about the thing in the world that the sample is representing. Each vocabulary includes <20 classes. The Adobe acrobat files show decision trees for categorizing samples consistently. These are work in progress, and will be updated as testing and integration of new sample types continues. URI for each vocabulary will be provided in future version.
