1. Cleome cardaminoides Hoffmannsegg (1826: 93).
Type: Unknown.
Note: This name was published in 1826, not 1824 as stated in some references. The 1824 copy of Hoffmannsegg’s work only treats Cleome violacea. It is not clear what this name refers to, it has never seen usage in taxonomic treatments, and no type material has been located to allow for definitive application of the name.
