Basionym: Peristylus superanthus J.J.Wood, Kew Bull. 41: 811, 1986.
Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Myitkyina District: 2440 m, 17 Jul 1914, Kingdon-Ward 1816 (E), det. P. Efimov.
Distribution:— The Himalayas,?northern Myanmar and possibly southwestern China.
Note:— The identification is uncertain, and the material is too poor to be re-examined.
