Basionym: Eria cristata Rolfe, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1892: 139, 1892. Type:— MYANMAR. Mon State: Mawlamyine District, Peche s.n. (holotype: K).
Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: 1110 m, 19 Mar 2009, Kurzweil & Saw Lwin KL 2574 (SING). CHIN. Mindat District: fide Aung et al. (2020: 74). MON. Mawlamyine District: type.
Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand and southwestern China.
