Description
Information on the relative importance of factors that are necessary but insufficient for making management decisions related to the management of enterprise potential in the coordinate system of their organizational development. It is also important to know the nature of the relationships between factors that can be obtained through cluster analysis. Cluster analysis is the division of a given sample of objects (factors) into subsets, called clusters so that each cluster consists of similar objects and objects in different clusters differ significantly. In order to determine the main procedural aspects of cluster analysis of factors influencing the rationality of enterprise capacity management, it is advisable to review the work of scientists on the application of clustering of specific objects in the study of certain management problems. Taking into account the existing developments in this area, the aim of the article is to summarize the theoretical and methodological aspects of cluster analysis of the potential for sustainable development of enterprises.
The generally accepted structure of cluster analysis is the selection of such stages as preparation of initial data for cluster analysis; selection of the optimal method of cluster analysis, the method of calculating the degree of distance between the studied objects, clustering strategies; formation of clusters; visualization and interpretation of cluster analysis results.
The general set of factors that affect the rationality of enterprise capacity management are those that, based on their structure, are elements of different clusters. In addition, there are linear and indirect connections between them, which is important to consider when choosing the best solution from a number of alternatives. Built clusters and dendrites of factors that affect the rationality of enterprise capacity management require permanent monitoring for clarification and addition, especially during the transition of economic development from one phase to another, as well as due to reorganization and restructuring of enterprises.
