Scutominettia Hendel, 1932: 109. Type species, S. mallochi Hendel (mon.).
Neominettia Malloch, 1926: 9 (preocc. Hendel, 1925, with same nominal type species). Type species, Musca contigua Fabricius (orig. des., misident.) = mallochi Hendel, 1932. Refs.— Malloch, 1928: 1 (recognyzed Neominettia Hendel as senior primary homonym); Hendel, 1932: 109.
