Metallic Compounds of the Schiff Base derived from 5-Formyloxine and Benzidine

The present communication describes the synthesis of the compounds of the bis-schiff base from 5-formyloine and benzidine with metallic ions like Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Co²⁺, Mn⁺², Zn²⁺, Cd²⁺ and Uo₂²⁺. Probable structures of the compounds have been discussed from thermal stability and infrared spectral data.
