Vermilion flycatchers avoid singing during sudden peaks of anthropogenic noise
Description
Data from a playback experiment where we showed that vermilion flycatchers stop singing when experiencing an increase in sudden urban noise, and resume singing showing full vocal recovery after that. This could be an uncommon strategy to enhance information transfer in environments where noise amplitude fluctuates rapidly
