Studies on Some Monosubstituted Diorganotin(IV) Dithiocarbamates

Eleven new monosubstituted diorganotin(IV) dithioearbamates of the general formnla R₂Sn(X)dtc (where R=methyl-, butyl-, phenyl-, and benzyl-; X=-Cl, -I, -NCS, -N₃ or -NO₃ ; dtc =diethyl dithiocarbamate and morpholine-N.carbodithioate) have been prepared and characterized. The TGA, molecular weight, dipole momeut, mass. ir, uv, and ¹Hmnr .spectral data are presented in support of a monomeric ester type structure of the compounds.
