(CR4) Bell's Palsy Post Administration of COVID-19 Inactivated Vaccine

Introduction:

To report a case of Bell’s Palsy occurring post vaccination.

Case Presentation:

This is case report of a 23 years old Malay lady presented with left sided facial weakness over the past 2 weeks associated with occasional tearing over the left eye. Noted to have left sided facial weakness. No peripheral weakness. Patient was administered her first dose of COVID-19 vaccination 1 week prior to her presentation to the Ophthalmology clinic.

Conclusion:

Patients who have received inactivated COVID-19 vaccines may be at risk for developing Bell’s palsy
