ternary diagram and quadrilateral diagram template for Excel

Excel template for plotting data into a triangular and a quadrilateral diagram. The sample data can be arranged in up to 15 groups that will be displayed with different symbols/colours in the diagrams.
Apart from data points, the user can define lines, fields and curves (open and closed) to map out areas in the diagram. Many data-sets are provided as examples.

Version 1.1: quadrilateral plot added

Version 1.2: "generic_triangular_diagram_2025_07":

This version comes with a VBA macro that only inserts additional rows in order to accomodate more samples in a group. You don't need to enable the macro if you are happy with the number of pre-defined samples.
