Synthesis and Absorption Spectra of Heterocyclic Quinonoid Chromophoric System : Pyrrocoline Quinones

A series of substituted pyrrocoline quinones has been synthesised. Their structure has been ascertained through elemental analysis, colour reaction and spectral data.
