The presented data are for an article entitled "Differential Ablation of Organic Coatings from Micrometeoroids Simulated in the Laboratory" that has been submitted for publication to Journal of Geophysical Research - Planets.
The file ppy_ablation_data.csv contains the initial mass and initial velocity for each of the 22 PPy-coated olivine dust particle,
the gas target pressure, and the charges (in number of electrons) collected by the 16 charge collectors inside the gas target.
The value in column "Included" is set to "True" if the particle was among the 18 particles used to calculate charge yields and to fit the model in the article. File Impact_event.zip contains the final impact signals for each of the 22 particles. The impact signals are presented as voltage signals vs. time in CSV format. The units for all data are indicated in the column name.
