Description

• Smart Border Control (SBC) technologies is a hot topic in recent years. • Smart Borders Package was introduced by European Union (EU) Commission. • Acceptability and usability challenges are the major challenges faced by these technologies. • Sentiment Analysis is a primary technique to measure user acceptance. • Existing gap: there is no existing study available where sentiment analysis used for measuring the user acceptance of SBC technologies. Also, no existing sentiments labelled dataset available for SBC technologies. • Objective of this study is to propose a fine-tuned transformer model along with an automatic sentiment labels generation technique to perform sentiment analysis as a step towards getting insights into user acceptance of BCPs technologies.
