تطبيقات تقنيات المعلومات والعنكبوتية العالمية في المتاحف الافتراضية العربية ودورها في إتاحة المعلومات المتحفية دراسة ميدانية

تعد دور المتاحف بمثابة مؤسسات معلومات تشارك كلا من دور المكتبات والأرشيفات في حفظ التراث الإنساني. وقد أتاحت الإنترنت فرصا مناسبة لتلك المؤسسات جميعها، كي تعزز من درها المنوطة به، بحيث تحفظ التراث الإنساني وتجعله متاحا أمام جمهور المستفيدين. وتسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء كثيرا على طبيعة تطبيقات تقنيات المعلومات والعنكبوتية العالمية المضمنة بالمتاحف العربية. وتوصلت الدراسة بالمنهج الميداني، استنادا إلى عينة قدرها ٣٩ موقعا متحفيا. وكشفت الدراسة أن كل متاحف العينة (100%) تحرص على تضمين صور القطع الأثرية بمواقعها مصحوبة بنصوص تعريفية، مع تفاوت معيارية عرضها من متحف لآخر، كما كان هناك مجال لتوظيف تقنيات الوسائط المتعددة (56.4%)، والإتاحة الافتراضية للمجموعات (35.9%). كما تباينت آليات إتاحة المعلومات المتحفية، وإن غلب عليها كونها تؤثر عرض الصور (100%)، والوصف المادي للقطع المعروضة (76.9%)، بجانب العرض التفاعلي للمعلومات (33.3%). وقد ختمت الدراسة ببعض التوصيات والدراسات المستقبلية المقترحة.

The role of museums is such as information institutions that share both the role of libraries and archives in the preservation of human heritage. The Internet has provided appropriate opportunities for all these institutions to strengthen their roles so as to preserve the human heritage and make it available to the public beneficiaries. This study highlights a great deal of the nature of the global applications of information and web techniques embedded in Arab museums. The study employed the field curriculum based on a sample comprising 39 museums. The study revealed that all the sample museums (100%) are keen to include the artifacts' images at their sites accompanied by identifying texts, with a disparity in the criteria of the display from one museum to another. There was also scope for using multimedia technologies (56.4%) and virtual availability of groups (35.9%). Mechanisms for the availability of museum information varied, although mostly affecting the presentation of images (100%), the physical description of the pieces displayed (76.9%), and the interactive presentation of information (33.3%). The study concluded with some recommendations and proposed future studies.
