Type locality: Nepaul [Nepal]

Distribution: Manipur, WB (Darjeeling), North & NE India (Kirti & Singh 2016, Volynkin et al. 2019).

Remark: Barsine defecta rubella Volynkin & Cerný, 2017 is reported from China only.
