= Neckeropsis disticha (Hedw.) Kindb., fide VAN DER WIJK & al. (1964: 435).
Type citation. – “Paraguay, Guarapi, in truncis arboretum; 1884, Balansa 3627 ”.
Type specimens. – Syntypes: Guarapi, sur le tronc des arbres, Balansa 3627 (G [1885], G00040434; Herb. Boiss., G00040432; Herb. DC. [1884], G00040433) .Type designation. – None found.
