Some methyl 4-[2-alkylthio-4(3H)-quinazolon-3-yl]phenyl acetates and phenyl-α-methyl acetates (4-7, Table 1) have been synthesised and evaluated for their pharmacological activities. Some of the compounds showed moderate antiinflammatory activity.
