Hedychrum aureicolle Mocsáry, 1889: 168. Lectotype ♀, designated by Móczár 1964: 441; Greece: Rhodes (HNHM).
Material examined. N. Lebanon: Horch Ehden Nature Reserve, 1567 m, 19.vi.2016, 1♀, leg. M. Boustani, A. Kotán, W. Yammine, det. P. Rosa (MBOU).
Distribution. * Lebanon. European part of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Palestine (Rosa et al. 2019).
