Bis 2610m: Talboden bei den Hütten der Fluhalp ob Zermatt (Becherer 1944) (in der var. ramulosum Rupr. f.alpestre Wahlenb.). Eine andere hohe Fundstelle ist:beim Hotel Trift bei Zermatt, 2310 m (Thellungl922).
(Formen: Die von G. BEAUVERD1941 aus dem Lötschental neu beschriebene var. «codetanum» [sie] betrifft eine nicht seltene und längst benannte Form.)
