— Holotype male (ZISP, 4671), from the Plainmantled Tit-spinetail Leptasthenura aegithaloides (Kittlitz) (Furnariidae), Santa Barbara, Bío Bío Province, Bío Bío Region, Chile (37°39'53"S, 72°1'13"W).
