Megachile florensis Mitchell 1943: 671. New name.
Megachile manaosensis Mitchell 1930: 203. Male. Type locality: Flores, Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. (Not M. manaosensis Schrottky 1913a: 201. See Mitchell 1943: 671.) Based on the description the species is tentatively placed in this subgenus.
