Description

Cytherea nucleorum (Becker, 1902)

Material: Five specimens: Al Mujib Natural Reserve 13.III.2002 (4ɗ); Dayr Alla 19.III.1974 (1Ψ).

Distribution: Palaearctic: Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria.

It was collected from the ground surface. Evenhuis and Greathead (1999) cited this species as recorded from Jordan.
