Cytherea dispar (Loew, 1873)

Material: Nine specimens: Al Jubayhah 3.V.1992 (1ɗ), 12.V.2002 (1ɗ); Al Mujib, Faqu’a 18.III.2002 (1Ψ); Al Wala 8.IV.2002 (1ɗ); As Sukhnah 28.IV.1974 (2ɗ, 1Ψ); Dayr Alla 19.III.1974 (1ɗ); Yajuz 28.IV.1974 (1ɗ).

Distribution: Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Gruzia, Iran, Jordan, Kyrgyz Republic, Morocco, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

Evenhuis and Greathead (1999) cited this species as recorded from Jordan.
