A number of .α-oximino-β-phenylhydrazones of aroylacetarylamides have been synthesised. They were cyclised in thionyl chloride or acetic anhydride/sodium acetate to give 4-aryl-5-carboxy(aryIamino)-2-phenyl-1,2,3-triazoles. Their elemental analysis, uv and ir spectra are recorded.
