To identify N. lutea

18. Abdominal tergites 2–4 pale laterally; frons of female wrinkled with tentorial pits darkened (Winterton et al. 1999a: fig. 3); male with a set of “comb” like setae on ventral edge of gonostylus (Winterton et al. 1999a: fig. 44) (South Australia) .................................................................. carminata Winterton & Irwin. - Abdominal tergites 2–6 pale laterally; frons of female only slightly wrinkled, tentorial pits pale or only slightly darkened; male unknown (Tasmania) ......................................................................... lutea (White). - Abdominal tergites wholly dark; frons of female only slightly wrinkled, tentorial pits pale or only slightly darkened; male gonostylus without “comb” like setae ventrally (Winterton et al. 1999a: figs 60, 69).... 19
