Chesias rufata SCOTICA Richardson, 1952

Holotype, female, pinned:

Specimen data: “x Aviemore | vii. 1947 | A.Richardson” [Printed label except for handwritten date.] “ TYPE | ENT. | REC. | LXIV | 260” [Handwritten (by Richardson)]. “ CHESIAS RUFATA, Fab., ssp. SCOTICA | AVIEMORE, INVERNESS, bred vi. 47 | Ent. Rec. 64 1952 p.271” [Typewritten cabinet label from A. Richardson’s collection].

Remarks: This specimen, which was standing over the above cabinet label in Austin Richardson’s collection is undoubtedly that described by him (Richardson 1952).
