Colobothea naevigera Bates, 1865

Colobothea naevigera Bates, 1865: 101; Monné, 2005: 346 (cat.); Wappes et al., 2006: 38 (distr.).
Geographical distribution. Described from Ega [Tefé] and São Paulo de Olivença, both localities in Amazonas, Brazil; also occurs in Ecuador (new country record), Peru, and Bolivia. Mentioned for the first time from Bolivia (Santa Cruz) by Wappes et al. (2006).
Specimens examined. ECUADOR, Orellana: Coca, 2 females, XII.1981, G. Onore leg.; same locality, male, III.1982, J. Escobar leg. (MNRJ).
