Ditstribution. Costa Rica, Panamá. Norrbom (2004) listed Costa Rica in the distribution of this species, but without specimen data, which are reported here.

Material examined. COSTA RICA: Guanacaste: Parque Nacional Guanacaste, 9 km S of Santa Cecilia, Estación Pitilla, 11°0’N 85°26'W, LN 330200 380200, 700 m, Aug 1994, P. Rios 3171, 2ɗ (INBio INBioCRI002050755, INBioCRI002050772).
